with smart planning—and a little extra square footage.

i-Rite Market's owner, Sam Mogannam, had lived daily with the challenges of running a fullservice specialty food store in only 1,500 square feet of customer space. So when it came time to
develop a second, larger store, he and his team custom-designed a space that drew on their retail
expertise and instituted features they'd wanted to have for years—such as double the space for fruits and
vegetables—while remaining, as the market's website declares, "a neighborhood market feeding our community with love, passion and integrity."
