How do you describe it to people out- side the food world? We are a non-profit organization with a big goal: We want to be the world's first large- scale museum and global center that focuses on learning about every aspect of food. That includes how food relates to our various cultural identities, the science behind what we eat, the economics of food, and so much more. Our aim is to provide people with a sensory experience that cannot be found anywhere else. So how do you see the museum as compared to other food institutions? There is nothing like MOFAD in the world! Certainly, there are lots of other food muse- ums, but most take a "cabinet of curiosity" approach, meaning they collect objects and display them.
