This company enters the butter game with two brands of offerings. Its Kilchurn Estate honey butter whips pure honey in small batches to control crystallization and achieve a smooth, creamy texture. Introduced last year, the sweet spread is made in the wetlands of Argentina. The Jansal Valley line uses Sonata apples grown along Oregon's Hood River for its apple butter, adding lemon juice and fresh thyme for a sub- tle sweetness. The pumpkin butter combines sweet Cinderella pumpkin puree with cinnamon, cloves, and car- damom. These almond butters packaged in 12-ounce jars, were inspired by the company's flavored almond products: Italian black truffle and creme brulee. The butter version of the former pairs a natural almond butter paste with sea salt, black summer truffles from Northern Italy, and natural truffle flavor.
