LEADERSHIP 8 Members of the Specialty Food Association and others in the trade nominate individuals for the Leadership Awards. A panel of judges composed of industry experts and inf luencers selected the six honorees from dozens of nominees across the three categories. T he Specialty Food Association's sixth annual Leadership Award winners, chosen for their exemplary efforts in the areas of Business Leadership, Citizenship, and Vision, are recognized for such endeavors as tackling world hunger with crickets, donating clean drinking water and meals to impov- erished areas, employing adults with developmental disabilities, educating underserved communities about cooking and nutrition, and developing native elderberry as a viable specialty crop.
